We welcome you to the Waters at the edge of our olive grove, just meters from the beach, and perfectly located to explore Nelson to the East, Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks to the North, and the Vineyards of the Moutere to the West.
The Waters is a luxurious boutique Bed & Breakfast dramatically set above the turquoise Tasman Bay in the heart of the Nelson Wine region on the South Island of New Zealand. This region and especially the Kina Peninsula where The Waters is located, is lucky to receive on average the most sunshine hours of the South Island and is called the ‚Provence of the Southern Hemisphere’. Vineyards and olive groves like the one at The Waters are conveying a mediterranean feeling.
The Suites are slightly elevated and only a few meters from the beach, which guarantees fantastic views of the Abel Tasman National Park – easily accessed for hiking or more adventurous trips.

Each of our three 40m2 Suites feature the same level of comfort and furnishings. Entertainment is top notch too, with a flat-screen TV and DVD, as well as an MP3 player system. Super King sized beds ensure your nights sleep is deep and restful. Double glazed windows and well insulated walls ensure your privacy and warmth.
Two terraces, one with beautiful sea view and one facing Mount Arthur Mountain Range, cantilevered over a pond, are appointed with a table and two chairs each.

This exciting addition enhances the relaxation and wellness experience for visitors seeking tranquility after a day of adventure in the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
Guests can now unwind in tempered water while enjoying breathtaking views of the turquoise Tasman Sea and the Abel Tasman coastline. For those who prefer an active option, the swim spa offers the unique ability to swim against an adjustable current – perfect for training or as an alternative to open-sea swimming.
To elevate the experience, guests may indulge in a refreshing gin and tonic, including our signature gin crafted from grapes grown on the property, or savor local sparkling wine. During the shoulder season, the spa pool can be heated up to 40°C, thanks to an innovative electric cover, ensuring comfort year-round.
